    Boarding with Em's Pet Grooming & Boarding differs from boarding facilities in multiple ways. While your pup is here, s/he will become a part of our family (literally, it's in Em's Residency)! During your dog's stay they can enjoy a full groom as well as 24-7 interaction. We do not crate/kennel our pups all day- but allow our dogs to feel at home by; cuddling on the couch/bed, going on multiple walks through-out the day, photo-shoots, playing with toys and just hanging out

It is completely normal for you and your pet to become anxious when departing for vacation, business, or personal travel- but don't let it hold you nor your pet back. Em's Pet Grooming & Boarding thrives to make their boarders feel comfortable, safe and happy. Often times, being in a kennel all day with other loud dogs CAN be stressful to many pets (I mean, I'd be stressed there) - here at Em's Pet Grooming & Boarding we board only a handful of pets with similar temperaments at a time to ensure happiness from everyone! In addition to that, we use a pheromonal spray specifically designed for dogs with anxiety (used by many Veterinary Practices like VCA, Banfield, etc) called, Adaptil, which has shown fabulous results with a lot of previous stressed out boarders.

How Does Boarding Work?

  I'm glad you asked!!! Since boarding at Em's Grooming & Boarding is within Em's residency, only dogs with similar temperaments will be boarded together. This can make scheduling tricky for last minute requests, which is why booking fast is important, however; Em does her best to accommodate everyone. 

  The maximum amount of dogs boarding per night is 5. Unless otherwise requested by you, Em only boards a single family (household) at a time. This is to ensure safety + happiness for everyone and 100% interaction with the pets staycationing. If another family is booked during the dates you request, the option for your pet(s) to make friends with others may be available to you but this solely depends on the current boarders temperaments (i.e. does not play well with other dogs, too excited, anxious, etc).
